Werewolf
The wild self that breaks loose
What it often means
A werewolf in a dream is the civilised self losing control to something instinctive and wild. It can mark a fear of your own anger or appetite, or a part of you that will no longer be tamed. The transformation, not the violence, is usually the point.
When it tends to appear
- When instinct or anger feels close to breaking loose
- When you fear a part of yourself you cannot control
- When a tamed desire is demanding to be let out
Sit with these questions
- 1
What in you transforms when you can no longer hold it in?
- 2
What instinct have you been caging?
- 3
Is the wildness a threat, or a part of you asking to be honoured?
